70 People Detained For Protest Against Delhi CM’s Remarks Over The Kashmir Files

In the latest updates, the Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested around 70 individuals for causing uproar outside the home of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal here.

The protest was initiated by the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha over the Chief Minister’s new comments in the Assembly on ‘The Kashmir Files’ film that were considered as “against the Kashmiri Pandit” people group among the saffron tribes.

The protest, which was driven by BJP Yuva Morcha’s public secretary Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and its public president Tejasvi Surya, began around 10.30 a.m. from the IP College to the Chief Minister’s home.

Whenever the protestors arrived at the CM’s home around 11.30 a.m., they began raising mottos against Kejriwal and his party. Around 1 p.m., a portion of the protesters penetrated the two blockades that were put close to the CM house and caused uproar there.

Affirming about the episode, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sagar Singh Kalsi informed media that the protestors who penetrated the blockades, “were conveying a little box of paint from which they tossed paint outside the entryway”.

“In the quandary, a blast boundary arm was likewise found vandalized as additionally a CCTV camera,” Kalsi said.

The senior cop additionally educated that the police group promptly eliminated them from the spot and arrested around 70 people. “Lawful activity is being started,” he added.

In the mean time, the AAP leaders are blaming the staff for Delhi Police for their supposed inaction during the episode and asserted that the BJP was “attempting to kill Arvind Kejriwal”.

AAP leader Raghav Chaddha affirmed that the BJP was angry over their loss in Punjab and have now boiled down to unfortunate governmental issues. “The assault on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ji’s home by BJP hooligans is exceptionally condemnable. Within the sight of police, these hooligans broke blockades and CCTV cameras,” Chaddha said.
