Andhra Pradesh Govt Urges Krishna Board to Stop Telangana Power Generation at Srisailam

Andhra Pradesh State government has written a letter to Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) against the power generation of the Telangana government at Srisailam dam and urged it to stop the power generation immediately.

The Engineer in Chief of the State Narayana Reddy wrote the letter to the member secretary of KRMB. In his letter, he alleged that the Telangana GENCO was producing power from the left Hydro Electric Station of the Srisailam.

He also alleged that the TS GENCO was also drawing water deo the project despite the fact that the dam has only 808.40 feet from the first of this month.

He said that the Telangana Genco had used 3 tmc of water out of the 8.89 tmc of water received by the project. He told the board that it would take a lot of time for the Dam to refill again.
