Announce health emergency: CPI to KCR

Hyderabad: CPI Secretary Ch Venkat Reddy today urged that state government announce health emergency in Telangana due to growing Corona cases. Reddy said that the government has to start TIMS in the Gachibowli area for COVID patients.

In a statement,  he expressed concern that about 2000 cases reported every day and the GHMC area has 80 percent of the cases.  Venkat Reddy said that Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao has to take steps to give confidence among people on Corona health services.  The state and the center have to protect the lives of people by taking adequate measures he said.

The CPI leader has urged Union deputy home minister G Krishan Reddy to cooperate to prevent virus spread in Telangana and GHMC area.  The CPI leader urged KCR and Kishan Reddy to give 10 kg of rice and more financial aid to patients.

He also asked for more facilities and services in the Hospitals to treat Corona cases. He also urged KCR and Kishan Reddy to ensure the release of Virasam leader Varavara Rao from jail in Maharashtra.
