AP cabinet expansion

Amaravati:  Over nearly one year the first cabinet expansion took place today with two berths was filled in the Andhra Pradesh Council of Ministers today which were vacant following the resignation of the two ministers Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkat Ramna who have elected for the Upper house of the parliament.

The sworn-in ceremony was a low key affair due to the Corona effect and only a few people have permitted. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Speaker Tamineni Sitamram, and few others have attended the function.

As per the schedule, the 2 ministers sworn in by Governor Viswabhushan Harichandan sworn in the new ministers’ A Raju, and C Venugopal was sworn in at 1.29 pm.

Raju hails from Srikakulam Dist who have elected for the Assembly first time in 2019 elections from Palasa constituency.
