Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said the ruling TRS party has gone for early elections only to destroy the TDPP in Telangana. He also said TRS Chief and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao fell in the craze of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and neglected his offer of working together for the development the two Telugu States.
Chandrababu Naidu had a meeting with the Ministers and party’s important leaders on Wednesday here. It is learnt that the meeting discussed several issues, including latest political developments, Maoists movement.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said the BJP, YSRCP, Jana Sena were working together to destroy the TDP. He directed the leaders to be alert if not they will face problems severely. He alleged that the party, which attacked him in Alipiri, attacked and killed two TDP leaders in Araku Valley conspicuously. He alleged that the Union government was showing clear discrimination towards Andhra Pradesh State.
The meeting also discussed about the attack of the Centre on the farmers on Delhi outskirts. The leaders in the meeting opined that the BJP was trying with the help of KCR to destroy the TDP in Andhra Pradesh State after TRS coming to power in Telangana State. Chandrababu said they were trying to unite the non-BJP parties at the national level. He suggested to the party leaders not to state that Chandrababu Naidu will become Prime Minister.
The meeting also discussed “vote for note” case. One Minister informed the meeting that the ACB asked the Centre to take up investigation on vote for note case. Another Minister said the IT raids in Telangana were going on following the directions of the Centre and there was a scope for similar IT raids in Andhra Pradesh State.
When a senior leader felt that the Centre was hatching conspiracies targeting Chandrababu Naidu and Ministers, Chandrababu Naidu responded saying that BJP, Jagan, Pawan and KCR were working against the interests of the TDP in Telangana State. A Minister alleged that KCR was not digesting the formation of Maha Kootami in Telangana State. NSS
