Hyderabad: The Budget session of the State Legislature came to an end today, after adopting the Appropriation Bill (Budget) 2020-21. The session started on March 6, with the Governor’s address to the Joint session of the Assembly and the Council.
According to the original schedule, the Budget session was to conclude on March 20. But, the session was cut-short in view of the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread across the Globe. The Budget was presented in the legislature on March 8. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao replied to the discussion on Budget (Appropriation Bill) in the State Assembly today before the adjournment of the Session by the Speaker P Srinivas Reddy.
