Cadres of BRS burn poster of Bandi Sanjay over his remarks on MLC K Kavitha

Cadres of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) burned a poster of BJP State President Bandi Sanjay for making objectionable remarks about MLC K Kavitha during a public meeting in Adilabad on Sunday.

BRS supporters condemned Sanjay’s statements, saying the BJP state chief was making baseless accusations against Kavitha and harming her reputation.

They demanded that he apologise to Kavitha and the women of Telangana. They said that Kavitha was playing a vital role in propagating the distinct culture of the State through Bharat Jagruthi.

BRS making BJP restless, says Kavitha

The BRS, which is making the ruling BJP at the Centre restless, will make history by emerging as an alternative force to the BJP in national politics, said MLC K Kavitha.

She stated that the party would soon announce its nationwide action plan, which will include a people’s agenda. While leaders from other parties in many states approached her to join the BRS, she stated that the party would work with like-minded forces to defeat the BJP.

Kavitha said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has already set new benchmarks in agricultural development, and thus a farmers’ government will remain the BRS’s top priority. She recalled how many people attempted to minimize or mock the formation of TRS in 2001, but Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao proved them all wrong.

“The BRS will have a similar future, with KCR at the helm. All the decisions taken by the Chief Minister are aimed at people’s welfare which led to the formation of the BRS,” she said.
