Celebrations of Hindi week ended at MANUU

Hyderabad: The Hindi Week activities at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), which started on September 14, came to an end on September 17.

Dr. Seema Verma, Professor, Hindi Teaching Scheme, delivered an online lecture on September 16, chaired by Prof. Siddiqui Muhammad Mahmood, Registrar in Charge, MANUU. Dr. Shagufta Parveen, Hindi Officer, Hindi Cell, MANUU read out the message of the Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.

The online Hindi story contest was held on September 17 in connection with Hindi Week. In the competition, University employees shared their stories online. Apart from this, Raj Bhasha (Official Language) Quiz Competition was also organized in which a large number of staff members participated and took a pledge to make every effort to expand the Hindi language. Dr. Shagufta Parveen proposed a vote of thanks. Special posters and banners were displayed on the MANUU campus to promote Hindi (official language) during Hindi Week. Hindi Cell coordinated the activities and supervised the arrangements. All the activities were conducted online to ensure social distancing.
