Chakka Jam protest program held on National Highway

Hyderabad: The activists of political parties and farmers unions today held the Chakka Jam protest program on the National Highway at Hayathnagar in the city.

The farmers have taken part in the protest program along with bull carts. The activists from congress, CPI, CPM, and TJS parties took part in the protest program. The congress party leaders like Malreddy Ranga Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav also took part in the protest programs. The police have made elaborate arrangements to avoid any untoward incident. They have also diverted the traffic.

As per AICC instructions to Join Farmers agitation on Saturday by Blocking National and State highways during their Chakka Jam, Former PCC President and Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao joined the agitating Farmers at Khammam Bypass Road and extended his support to the Farmers.

Speaking on this occasion VH said the Farmers are continuing the agitation for the past over 70 days in Delhi Borders, But Union Government led by Modi is ignoring the Farmer’s genuine demands, MSP and against the three farm laws. He said it’s really unfortunate that the Modi Government is deliberately ignoring the Farmer’s genuine demands and favoring a few Big Businessman. And said Congress party will stand by the Farmer’s till their genuine demands are fulfilled.

Former Communist MLA Sambasiva Rao, Kisan Congress Khammam President Shekar Goud, INTUC Khammam President Sitaram, PCC Spokesperson R.Laxman Yadav, Local Congress, Communists Leaders, and Kisan leaders participated in this agitation. (NSS)
