Chandrababu Naidu Slams Govt on Covid 19 Management

TDP National President and the former Chief Minister of the State Nara Chandrababu Naidu today slammed the state government and alleged that it had failed in tackling the deadly Covid 19 virus pandemic.

He said that the state would not have faced such a serious situation had the state government worked in a planned manner. He said that the Covid virus had left several families of the state in a state of Shock.

Naidu alleged that CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy had not moved even after seeing the plight of the Covid victims. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at the conclusion ceremony of the protest program held with a demand to extend financial assistance to all the Covid victims of the state and other demands.

Speaking on the occasion he demanded the state government to reveal the total number of patients, who have died due to the Covid virus. He alleged that the CM had taken the virus lightly at a time when the entire world shuddered after seeing the intensity of the virus. Speaking further, Naidu alleged that the state government has not taken their suggestions into consideration to control the spread of the virus.

He said that a responsible government should take the suggestions of opposition political parties into consideration. He said that he was mocked by the CM for making good suggestions during the initial days of the virus. He alleged that the ruling party had harassed the TDP leaders by citing the Covid virus.

He said that the party had instilled confidence among scores of the victims of the virus. Naidu alleged that the state government was giving false figures on the death of the Covid virus.

He claimed that the state government was not taking steps despite the warnings of the spread of the third wave. He claimed that the state government had acted brutally by keeping all the wines open during the Covid pandemic.
