Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar was tested positive for coronavirus. The Chief Secretary informed that he tested positive for covid-19.
He appealed to those who met with him in the last weekdays and should also take corona tests. He called on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday according to information.

The Chief Secretary took the first jab of corona vaccine and instructed the officials who were in close association with him during the last weekdays.
The Chief Secretary held a collectors meeting here and asked them for checking the virus spread. Somesh Kumar instructed that the cases spread be contained by following corona protocols in all the districts. Conduct more tests and ensure that the virus is not spread by following corona protocols, he said.
The Chief Secretary took stock of the steps and facilities in the districts to check the virus spread. He asked the collectors to strictly implement the protocols like — wearing the masks, sanitizing the hands, and social distancing.

The Chief Secretary is attending the reviews with the chief minister on a continuous basis. Somesh Kumar said that those who get symptoms should get vaccinated for coronavirus.
