Hyderabad: A three-year-old girl was killed on the spot and her uncle and mother suffered grievous injuries when the four-wheeler of Mulugu MLA Seethakka dashed against the two-wheeler on which the victims were traveling near Jeedi Vaagu.
While three-year-old Sravanthi died on the spot, her uncle and mother sustained grievous injuries. The trio was traveling on the two-wheeler when the vehicle in the convoy of Mulugu MLA Danasari Anasuya alias Seethakka hit the bike near Jeedivagu Koyagudem in Eturunagaram mandal in the district on Saturday. They were taking the girl to the Anganwadi centre at Pakpapuram when the head-on collision occurred. The front part of the car was completely damaged.
According to the police, MLA Seethakka was on her way to Malluru Narasimha fair when the accident took place. The incident left the relatives of the kid in tears. The local police have registered a case and took up investigation. (NSS)
