The City Police from the task force today arrested a gang that was involved in the sale of injections meant for the treatment of black fungus.
Nine members of the gang have been arrested by the police .

The first gang had five members and the second gang has four members. The police have also seized 28 Amphotericin -B injections from their possession.
Revealing the details of the gang, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said that the gang members were selling the injections in Banjara Hills and SR Nagar areas and added that the accused sold each injection for Rs.35000 to Rs.50,000 per injection.
He warned those indulging in the sale of the injections of facing stern action from them.
The CP said that the main accused of the gang Srikanth was working as a medicos representative and was selling the injections after receiving them from different people.
He said that Srikanth formed a gang with four others to run their illegal business. He said that the kingpin of the second gang was Balaswamy. He said that another accused from Guntur was on the run now.
