Amaravati: The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today announced 10 lakh rupees exgratia to the kith and kin of a Dalit youth who was died while undergoing the treatment in a Hospital.
The youth who was identified as Kiran was thrashed by the Chirala SI Vijaykumar for not using the face mask and not comply with the corona rules.
Kiran was going on his bike when the SI has stopped him and express angry for not using the face mask and thrashed him black and blue. The injured Kiran was rushed to Guntur Hospital for treatment where he succumbs to death.
Knowing the incident the Chief Minister office directed the Dist Sp to furnish the details of this incident ordered to pay compensation to the family members of the deceased. He ordered a high-level inquiry of this incident also.
