CM to hold high level meeting on May 21to finalize regulated crops cultivation policy

Hyderabad:  Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will conduct a high-level, elaborated, and the comprehensive meeting will be held on Thursday in Pragathi Bhavan, here to finalize policy on regulated cropping pattern.

Ministers, District Collectors, District Agriculture officials, and District Farmer officials are invited to the meeting. The Chief Minister will discuss with them districts-wise cultivation of specific crops. The government has already finalized the extent of cultivation of a particular crop in Telangana state. In order to take stock of the situation as to what extent district wise a particular crop has to be cultivated? What kind of seed should be sown in rice? agriculture officials and Agriculture University officials will be meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday under the chairmanship of Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy.  After this meeting, a cropping map of districts will be prepared. The map of those crops will be discussed at a meeting to be chaired by the Chief Minister and to decide as to how to go about.
