Congress Condemns Callous Attitude of Inter Board Officials

Hyderabad: TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said that the future of intermediate failed students had become bleak due to the unpardonable mistakes of the officials of  board of intermediate  education. They said that they were pained at seeing  the affected students and their parents   holding agitation  demanding justice from the state government.

Speaking to media persons, they said that 9.45 lakh students’ lives were  thrown on to the  roads due to the mistakes of the board . They also said that the one year long hard work of the students to get good marks in the exams had been wasted due to the callous and negligent attitude of the board. They said that the arrogant attitude of the intermediate board officials had thrown the future of the students into dark. They said that 12 intermediate students committed suicide as they didn’t get marks in the exams. They condemned the attitude of the officials of the board which had not only claimed that it didn’t commit mistake but asked the failed students to apply for recounting if they failed in their exams. The two leaders have said that some students who got more than 90 percent marks had failed in their second year. They demanded the state government to rectify the mistakes by taking the suggestions of subject experts Sravan for Judicial Probe

The Congress party on Monday demanded judicial probe through a sitting judge of High Court into the irregularities committed by the officials of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) and Globarena Technologies in the intermediate results.

Addressing a press conference at All India Congress Committee (AICC) Headquarters in New Delhi, AICC Spokesperson Dr. Sravan Dasoju said that the blunders committed by the TSBIE in exam results have caused serious agony to thousands of students and their parents. Therefore, he said that the State Government should immediately suspend the TSBIE officials including its Secretary Dr. Ashok and others for their callous and allegedly corrupt practices. Calling Education Minister Jagadish Reddy ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, he asked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to sack him from the cabinet.(NSS)
