Hyderabad: Covid 19 affects all walks of life and several business entities face financial constraints however the chicken business which affects by the Corona, is now back on track is as serpentine queues are witnessing at the chicken centers apart from Hyderabad other places of Telangana as well.
According to the health experts and doctors, the chicken becomes an immunity booster and supports the body to fight the Covid19 Virus. As per their suggestion the general public increases consuming the Country made( Desi) chicken nowadays. The Poultry Farm Owners hiked the Cost of broiler and Desi Chicken too by taking advantage of the situation. The business of Chicken is brisk currently. As the demand for the desi chicken increases the owners of the chicken centers are carrying the desi one also apart from broiler.
The situation prevailed in the chicken markets is different from the 4 months back where no one had shown interest in the rooster but the state of affairs has changed and once again it has become popular among the people.
Earlier only a few numbers of people use to consume the desi chicken now a large number of masses are showing their interest in it. There are two types of chicken, one is farm rooster and the second one is the chicken which raises in the villages. Existing the demand for village chicken increases as the people liking it very much and giving priority than the broilers. The owners of the chicken shops of Hyderabad asserted that the people who had not shown their interest in buying the desi one now want to opt it as doctors advise them to consume it because it increases the immunity to fight the Covid19.
The rates have also increased according to the situation. Several owners sell the desi chicken at 500 to 600 rs per kilo. Buyers expressed their concern on the increasing rates. The farm chicken sells at 350 to 400Rupees per kilo. The chicken business which was collapsed earlier due to corona now once again seen a major leap with the corona itself.
