Coronavirus hit back with 36 students of TMRGS at Bandlaguda tests positive

What perceived as a distinctly palpable case of coronavirus convulsing again after the invention of the vaccine, about 36 students of a Telangana Minorities Residential Girls School in Nagol under Bandlaguda has been found positive with Corona Virus today bringing the panic back among the parents.

The parents, soon after the report spreads like a wildfire, start reaching to school one after another and take their children away with them. Meanwhile, the health department too swung into action to ascertain the reason behind the incident besides taking steps for medical tests of other students of the school and to arrest further spread of the contagion.

It is said that the doctors have conducted medical tests of other students to ascertain whether they are affected or not with the contagion.

“This is not the lone incident wherein students of the Telangana Minorities Residential Schools found positive with the virus. There are several instances where reports of students getting affected with the contagion emerging out every often. However, the managements of the institutions are taking all necessary precautions to keep the students safe from the contagion,” the sources informed.

The sources further said that, “There are isolations rooms in the schools, to separate the asymptomatic students from the others. If students found with symptoms, the management first isolate them from others and start giving them the much needed care and attention. If the conditions remain persisting with students showing no signs of recovery, then they get the help from local primary health centers besides informing the parents about the same. The students, than, allowed to leave the schools only with their parents if their health conditions fail to respond to primary level of medication.”

But, the most concerning part is that there are regular incidents are being reported from different schools wherein students are getting affected with the symptoms similar to that of covid-19 contagion.

According to the official data available with the official website of the TMRES, there are a total 204 residential high schools and 2 residential junior colleges spreads in all the 31 districts of the state wherein over 600 students from 5th to 12th standard are enrolled in each institution.

Out of the total 204 institutions, 107 are for boys and 97 are earmarked for girls. Among them 121 institutions carry upper primary sections i.e. 59 for boys and 62 are for girl students. Only two institutions are upgraded to intermediate second year for boys while 10 institutions were upgraded to intermediate 1st year wherein seven is for boys and three is for girls.
