Hyderabad: CPI leaders will conduct a concluding program of a week-long Telangana armed struggle event held in the state on September 17 to mark liberation day.
Secretary Ch Venkat Reddy will hoist the tricolor at Makhdoom Bhavan at Himayat Nagar party office on Thursday at 11 am. At the same time, a program will be held at Raavi Narayan Reddy Hall to mark the occasion.
Telangana martyrs memorial trust secretary K Prathap Reddy and other leaders will attend. Later at 4 pm, a jam app public meeting will be attended by the CPI leaders.
They include D Raja, Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy Dr. K Narayana, Venkat Reddy, Aziz Pasha, and others on the occasion. Both the left parties and BJP are demanding the TRS government to conduct Telangana liberation day on September 17.
