The Cyberabad Police Department has announced a free police pre-recruitment training programme to help the city’s youngsters.
This follows Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s declaration on Wednesday of recruitment in all government departments. According to a notice from the Cyberabad Police, the state government will issue a notification to fill 18,334 vacant police positions.
Under the supervision of Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Stephen Raveendra, coaching would be given in a well-equipped facility. To meet the qualifying criteria, candidates must be over the age of 18 and have education till intermediate.

Candidates can register for the coaching beginning March 14 by visiting the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Shamshabad with two pictures and an Aadhar Card. More information can be obtained by calling 99088 89114 or 89788 30185.
Youth are requested to avail the opportunity to join Telangana Police and Serve the Society.

Cyberabad police track down missing girls within 15 hours
In other news, two teenage girls who went missing in Dundigal under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits on 5th March evening kept the police on a lookout. The girls, both 15, left their belongings and a “suicide note” on the bank of a tank two kilometres away from their school.
Police initiated a search in the lake after suspecting that they had jumped into the tank. Simultaneously, they asked around in the surroundings, only to discover that the girls had left their belongings in the tank and had walked away. The girls had travelled over 30 kilometres before being found in Suraram on 6th march.
According to P Ramana Reddy, Dundigal Inspector, they were handed over to their parents after counselling.
The girls were seen walking alone when police began analysing CCTV footage in the area. However, by the time police arrived in Bolarum, the girls had left.

Further investigation revealed that they entered a car and went to Secunderabad. Locals noticed the girls moving in the Suraram region and contacted authorities, while search parties were still on the field. Police raced to the spot, took them into custody, and transported them to the police station.
