New Delhi : In a shocking incident a 22-year-old woman was allegedly molested by a head constable of Delhi Police and his friend in Mahendra Park area of the national capital.According to a senior police official, on November 18, the Mahendra Park police station received a police control room (PCR) call about molestation by two persons and one of them was police constable.
In this regard the woman alleged that head constables Anil (37) and Ravi Sharma (46), both residents of Mahendra Park area, molested her. The complainant’s police team conducted an investigation in the presence of lady police officers when Anil started abusing her and obstructed the investigation,” the official said.
“The police team tried to explain him, but he misbehaved with the staff on duty. The station house officer (SHO) of Mahendra Park police station also tried to explain him, and took it away from the complainant. Tried to record his statement. But Anil did not listen to anyone and also abused the SHO,” the official said.

With the help of police personnel, Anil was subdued and later it was learned that the alleged Anil is a Delhi Police official, who is posted at Azadpur Metro Station.
“On the statement of the complainant, a case has been registered against the two accused under Sections 323/354/354A/354B/506/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code and the matter is under investigation,” the official said.
A DD entry was also filed by Anil in the police station regarding misbehavior and misbehavior with a senior police officer.”Further allegations of Anil’s murder are being investigated by SHO Mahendra Park Police Station Merit,” the official said.
