Donald Trump Launches His Own Social Media Platform After Ban From Facebook, Twitter

After being banned from major social media giants, former US President Donald Trump has launched his own social media platform. His own platform is more like a WordPress blog linked to his official website.

As per the latest reports, the new platform is designed to be more like a generic version of Twitter but is being hosted by a running blogging website. Trump’s followers can sign up for alerts about the posts on the platform. And every time, Donald Trump posts something, they’d get an email or a text message.

A Twitter spokesperson spoke to the media and said that the shared content from the website reference is permitted to be shared. But on the condition that the material does not violate the safety guidelines of Twitter.

On the new platform, Trump has posted content dating back to March 24. The latest post on the new platform is a video advertisement to promote the same. In the post, we see that the platform is a space to speak freely and safely. Every post comes from the desk of Donald J. Trump.

Reports suggest that the new platform is built by Campaign Nucleus. It is a digital services company founded by Trump’s ex-campaign manager Brad Parscale.

Trump Gets Banned From Facebook, Twitter

Earlier this year, Trump was accused of instigating the Capitol violent riots in the United States of America. Some of the alleged “Trump supporters” stormed the Capitol building, took over the Senate floor, and infiltrated offices of the politician.

Following this, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO announced that if Trump continues to use their platform would only involve more risks. Later, his accounts on both Facebook and Instagram were suspended permanently. The next day, Twitter also suspended his account on the platform.
