Education Is the Asset That We Give to Our Children : CM YS Jagan

 The Chief Minister of the State YS Jaganmohan Reddy today said that the true asset that once can give to their children was education.

 

He said that he was happy to state that his government has taken up the Vidya Divena scheme in the month of April along with the celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on April 14 of this month.

The CM made these remarks after transferring the first installment of the fee reimbursement amount to eligible students of the state for the financial year 2020-21 from his camp office. The amount was credited into the bank accounts of the mothers of eligible students of the state online.

Speaking on the occasion Jagan said that the scheme would benefit 10.88 lakh students of the state. He said that the state government had paid the fee reimbursement arrears of the students for the year 2018-19 to the tune of Rs.1800 crore and added that they were no arrears of the fee reimbursement amount in the state now.

He said that they were paying the amount in the same financial year now. He said that they had transformed the Anganwadi Centers into preprimary schools and added that the state government was standing by the side of the students in their every step. He said that they were also changing the face of the government schools under the Naadu-Nedu scheme.

He said that they had also written letters to the mothers of the students on behalf of the state government. He said that they had credited Rs. 671.45 crore into the bank accounts of 10,88,439 students as the first installment.
