Eight Telangana diagnostics centers for poor in city: Etala

Hyderabad:  Health Minister E Rajender today said that 8 Telangana Diagnostics centers were started in the city for the poor.

The same to be expanded to all districts in phases.  They provide free tests and services for ECG,  ultrasound, Radiology,  X-Ray,  urine,  blood, and others. These centers came up in various locations, in Basthi Dawakhanas already set up, will provide all the services to the poor,  he said.

Rajender said that the government set up them in Basti Dawakhanas to offer the best health services free of cost.  IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao and Home Minister Mahamood Ali, deputy speaker Padma Rao Goud and others participated in the launch of Telangana diagnostics centers at various places in the city.

The Telangana diagnostics centers were started at places — Amberpet,  Lalapet, Sithaphal mandi,  Jangampet,  Sriram Nagar,  Barkas,  Panipuri,  and Purana pool.  The health sector brings strengthened as we spent Rs 35 crore for modern health facilities in Gandhi Hospital,  Rajender said.

These diagnostics centers will offer modern health services to the poor in different areas,  they said.

Rajender said that the government made arrangements for improved facilities in Basthi Dawakhanas.

At Sriram Nagar in the Banjara Hills area, KTR started a Telangana diagnostics center.  The IT minister stated that the state government gives priority to poor health and improving facilities. About 57 types of health services will now be available for poor classes through these new centers,  the minister maintained. These facilities are in addition to already existing Basthi Dawakhanas the minister has remarked.

KTR said that in the future these diagnostics centers will be expanded to all district hospitals.  In the future they will be in place e in all districts to offer improved health services, KTR claimed.  He expressed confidence that MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scan, ECG, radiology, x-ray and all 57 types of services will be provided in the new facilities. Our government is committed to providing better health care services with modern health services, he added.
