Elon Musk Goes Against Joe Biden’s $1 Trillion Infrastructure Bill

Elon Musk in the past has expressed the Biden administration to be biased towards his company Tesla. Taking a dig at the administration, he said that the United States of America doesn’t need the ambitious $1 trillion infrastructure bill or any of the government subsidies.

Musk : “Just Delete Them All”

Tesla CEO recently spoke at the Wall Street Journal Summit on Monday. He said that they have spent a lot of money. And the federal budget deficit is “insane”.

“Just delete them all” said Elon Musk.

In November, Biden signed a bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure bill into law after months of delaying amidst the Democratic infighting over the social spending package. The bill includes spending $550 billion in the new spending on infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, passenger rails, drinking water and wastewater systems.

The rest of the infrastructure package involves previously approved spending. Musk further said that Tesla has selling their electric cars for more than a year in the US without the $7500 tax credit. He further added that the US government should not be giving subsidies to expand EV charging infrastructure either.

He said that nobody need support for the gas stations. Tesla currently operates over 3000 charging stations with around 30,000 connectors globally.

Tesla has officially moved their headquarters from Palo Alto to Austin. They will continue to operate their electric vehicle factory in Fremont, California, and increase the production their by 50 percent.

Elon Musk To Apply For Commercial Licence In India By December End 

This comes after, Elon Musk’s satellite internet company, Starlink will soon start to provide internet services in India. The company will apply for a commercial license in India to provide broadband internet services to the users in India.
