Fires Hit Telangana School and Hyderabad Showroom

On Tuesday, an early morning fire triggered by a short circuit damaged a school in Telangana’s Mulugu district. The incident happened about 1 a.m. in Mulugu’s Jawahar Nagar neighborhood.

When the Mulugu Fire Station received the complaint, it dispatched a fire tender to the scene, which successfully doused the fire. Fortunately, no deaths or injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Some pupils’ books and backpacks, however, were set ablaze.

This comes after a major fire broke out on August 3 at a building in Hyderabad’s Habsiguda neighborhood. Around 5:30 a.m., a fire broke out in a garment showroom building. Firefighters came quickly and contained the blaze before it spread to neighboring structures. There were no reported injuries or fatalities, and the cause of the incident is still under investigation.
