Former Minister L.Ramana Responds on Reports of Leaving Party

Former Minister and Telangana TDP State president L.Ramana today responded to the reports that he was leaving the party.

He revealed that the leaders of the ruling TRS and opposition BJP approached him and made an offer to join their parties.  He made it clear that he had never spoken about leaving the TDP anywhere.

He said that his political journey would go on the basis of policy issues. He reminded that he had joined the TDP as soon as its founder NT Rama Rao founded it.

He said that he had worked hard for the development of the party being a leader from the weaker sections of the society. He said that NTR had encouraged him a lot but added that the political situation had completely changed now.

Ramana said that the time had come for him to go ahead as per the aspirations of the people of the state. He said that he had held a meeting with his followers and supporters. He said that he had never aspired for any political post.

He also praised that the National President of the party Nara Chandrababu Naidu also encouraged him a lot and added that he was encouraged by Babu irrespective of his wins and defeats.
