Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a Ganesh pandal at the basement of Mythri Nivas Apartment in Vishnupuri of Malkajgiri here in the early morning on Wednesday. No casualties were reported. But four cars and ten bikes were gutted.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was caused by lamps lit and kept in the pandal. The security guard, who noticed the fire, alerted the residents and the Fire Services department. Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire. (NSS)
