The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a warning to Hyderabad residents about potential heavy rainfall on Sunday evening and night.
Citizens are advised to remain vigilant and prepared for any possible issues arising from the downpour. In case of emergencies, they are encouraged to reach out to the Disaster Response Force (DRF) at 040-21111111 or 9000113667 for assistance.
Secunderabad recorded the highest rainfall with 136.8 mm during a nearly two-hour heavy rain spell. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts light to moderate rains persisting in Hyderabad and Telangana for the next four days.

A yellow alert has been issued for Monday in various districts, including Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Adilabad, and others, warning of potential thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in isolated areas.
Sunday witnessed soaring temperatures in Hyderabad, with Shaikpet hitting 40.8 degrees Celsius, closely followed by other areas. Meanwhile, Kamareddy in Telangana received the highest rainfall with 40 mm.
The expected rainfall is anticipated to bring relief from the scorching temperatures, with no heatwave conditions projected for the next ten days. Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during adverse weather conditions
