Govt urged to made Vet-Doctors’ appointment a complete departmental affair

Urging the government to make the appointments of veterinary doctors completely a department selection instead of carrying through the TSPSC, a delegation of Telangana Veterinary Graduates Association (TVGA) from Rajendranagar today made a representation to Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar and sought an early consideration of their request.

“We have asked the government to provide an exemption to veterinary doctors in appointments by making the process completely a departmental affair instead of carrying out selections through Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

Selection of candidates through departmental selection committee (DSC) would help aspirants to pass certain criteria set to clear the exams without obligations and would boost their vigor to pursue a doctorate in veterinary and animal husbandry streams in the state,” Katam Sridhar, President Telangana Veterinary Graduates Association (TVGA).

“Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar carefully heard our request and responded positively with an assurance that he will bring the matter to Chief Minister’s notice and would see the issue will be resolved soon,” he said.

Anil Reddy, Rajender, Mohanlal, and Ramesh are the other members of the delegation presented on the occasion.
