The Telangana government today urged the High Court of Telangana to constitute a new court to hear the sensational murder case of advocate couple Gattu Vaman Rao and Gattu Nagamani.
The Secretary of the law department of the State wrote a letter to the registrar general of the High Court on the issue following a plea by the DGP of the state.

In the letter, the secretary urged the registrar general to allocate a sessions court in Karimnagar and designate it as the special court to try the murder case. He said that the murder of the advocate couple had not only created a sensation but also led to fears among the people of the state. He said that the constitution of the special court was needed to complete the case hearing in a fast-track mode. The advocate couple was murdered at Kalvacharla of Peddapalle district.
The police arrested some accused in the case. The names of the main accused in the case are Kunta Srinu, Kumar, and Chiranjeevi.
