Hyderabad: The sleuths of C.C.S, L.B. Nagar along with Hayathnagar Police of Rachakonda Commissionerate, on a trip-off apprehended a habitual offender Kandula Satyanarayana @ Sathi Babu, Aged about 50 years, working as a Mason, and resident of Chandanagar, who had committed property offenses from the past one year in the jurisdiction of Rachakonda Commissionerate.
Last time in August 2018, he was arrested by Yelamanchili of Vizag rural PS and he was convicted with RI for 5 Months from 30.08.2018 to 23.01.2019. After completion of imprisonment, he was released from jail and came to Hyderabad and staying at Chandanagar by taking a room on rent. In the beginning, he worked as mason. Later started working as a Pvt employee. Thereafter as he could not meet his lavish expenditures he decided to choose his old path of committing property offenses. In order to avoid his identity, the offender used to travel all the way from Chandanagar to LB Nagar ring road on his Bajaj Pulsar Motorcycle and committed offenses in Chaitanyapuri- Green Hills & Kothapet, Saroornagar- Krishnan Nagar & Hanuman Nagar, LB Nagar-Chandrapuri Colony, Satavahana Nagar, Vanasthalipuram- Bhagyalatha colony, Kuntloor, Munganur & RTC Supervisor’s colony, and Adibatla-Thurkayamjal
The accused used to recce locked houses in the areas during day time on his Pulsar Motorcycle, and after selecting the locked houses, he used to go to Cinema nearby theatres to watch 1 st show and 2 nd show. After completion of the movie he used to go to the selected place and break the main door lock and commits theft of Gold, Silver, cash and other valuable ornaments and fled away on his Pulsar motorcycle.
Under the direct supervision and leadership of Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police and G Sudheer Babu Addl. Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, with the guidance of P.Yadagiri, DCP Crimes and D.Srinivas Addl. DCP Crimes, the police team apprehended the offender and detected a total of 33 cases and recovered property all worth Rs. 13,30,000/.
