Haj 2023: Telangana government’s efforts to ensure convenience and comfort for pilgrims

This year, over 7,000 people from Telangana are preparing for the highly anticipated Haj trip. Koppula Eshwar, Minister for Minority Welfare, announced the operation of special chartered flights beginning June 5 to ease the journey. The minister reviewed the arrangements and emphasised the particular accommodations made by the Telangana government to ensure the comfort and convenience of the pilgrims during a meeting at the Haj Committee Building.

The government has made concerted efforts to provide well-organized facilities for pilgrims. The Haj House has amenities such as  comfortable seating arrangements, bus alight spots, luggage screening, and check-in booths.Vistara Airlines has partnered with the state government to operate special Haj 2023 flights, with both online and manual booking options available. The minister encouraged all pilgrims to take advantage of the excellent facilities and arrangements offered by the Telangana government.

The meeting that took place at the Haj Committee Building was attended by a number of officials and dignitaries, including MLA Jaffar Hussain, Haj Committee Chairman Mohammad Salim, Government advisor to the Minority Department AK Khan and State Waqf Board Chairman Mohd Masiullah Khan, who discussed preparations as well as offered their support
