Haj House for Siddipet, Harish honours 52 Haj pilgrims

Hyderaba: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today felicitated 52 persons going for Haj pilgrimage at a program in Siddipet.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao announced sops of double bedroom houses to the eligible poor Muslims and also a Haj House in Siddipet. He said it was good to send 52 pilgrims for the holy Haj tour. Harish Rao greeted them and urged them to pray Allah for development of the infant State. He said it was decided to construct a new Haj House in Siddipet at a cost of Rs 2 crore. “This will be another Haj House in the State after Hyderabad”, he said.

“We will welcome Hajis on their return by completing the construction works of the Haj House here”, he said, adding Siddipet was rapidly developing on all sectors. Harish Rao said they will irrigate 1.10 lakh acres in the district through Ranganayaka Sagar Project. Siddipet will soon be connected with railway facility as the related works were going on, he added (NSS)
