High Court Asks Govt to Appoint Special Officer for Jubilee Hills Housing Society

Telangana High Court has asked the state government to appoint a special officer for the city-based Jubilee Hills  Housing Society.

Making it clear that several irregularities are taking place in the day-to-day affairs of the society, it said that the special officer was needed to look supervise and control the affairs of the society. It issued orders to this effect to the Telangana Cooperative Societies Registrar cum Commissioner.

The HC passed the orders while responding to a petition filed by the secretary of the society M. Murali Mukund urging the HC to issue directions to the state government to appoint the special officer.

The HC has also stayed the suspension of the secretary by the president of the society  Ravindranath.

In his petition, secretary  Mukund alleged that the president of the society Ravindranath and the other members of the society were obstructing him from discharging his duties. The HC also issued notices to the president of the society in the case.
