Home remedies proved fruitful in Covid 19 time

Hyderabad: The relevance of home remedies once again proved fruitful in the testing time of Covid 19 as a large number of people opting the ancestral remedies and Indigenous method of treatment which are the part of the kitchen.  Using desi techniques and tips to boost immunity power is also seen nowadays.

 Currently, Indian spices and dry fruits of cook rooms are in high demand as it uses to raise the immunity power of the body. Taking advantage of the situation the grocery shop owners have increased their prices.

The major chunk of the people has focused to boost the immunity in the lockdown period and its continuity is going on now also.

Local drinks(extracts)(Kadha)has taken the place of the tea, coffee and the high number of customers are demanding ginger, pepper, darchini in the grocery shops. Their demand has increased in recent times which was neglected earlier. Now, these things have become an inevitable part of the kitchen.

A large number of people feels that the chance of the attack of the Covid19 could be less if one uses the extracts by using these things from our kitchen, that’s the reason the preparation of extracts is high in the cooking rooms.

Women of different walk of life pointed out that these extracts are very useful in the pandemic time. They said that one should use dry fruits as well. Besides using these extracts walking, running, yoga should be a part of the healthy life.

 As of now, there is no vaccine to treat for the Corona the people are opting ayurvedic,  Unani medicines and remedies to boost the immunity. The shop keepers maintained that the selling of these products are high nowadays and about 20 per cent prices have high for these items. The price for each masala per kilo high about 200 rupees.

Earlier the spices are neglected by a large number of people and there is much feeling that excess consumption of spices can wreak havoc on the health. Garam masala and pepper are all acidic. Eating them frequently may cause acid reflux, however, the situation has been drastically changed and the buying of these products are high.

The dry fruits which were a part of the drawing-room of wealthy persons are in the reach of common man now as they are using it in a big way to nurture the immunity. As far as the price is concern the prices of cashew nut(Kaju), almond(badam), Pistachios(Pista) , Raisins  (Kishmish) and dry dates(sukhe kajoor) in the retail market has raised to 700 to 1200 Rupees.

The shop keepers pointed out that the people who are not in a position to afford these things are preferred to buy it in less quantity.

To contain the Coronavirus several people are using extracts in place of milk, tea, coffee every morning.
