Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court today adjourned the hearing of petition till tomorrow which seeks to allow the media coverage of the entire razing process of the old buildings of the Secretariat.
Earlier during the hearing, the petitioner claimed that the government has been keeping the entire process confidential. Nobody knows what is going on in this process, it is necessary to provide the details to the public through media.
On this juncture, the bench asked the advocate general that why the government is not allowing the media for coverage however the advocate general replied that any accident likely to occur if anybody allows inside, then bench asked him that the government can provide the video and images of the demolition process to media by own however the advocate general told the court that he will inform the decision of the government to the court after confabulating with the government. On this, the court posted the next hearing till tomorrow.
