Hyderabad: 55 policemen have been removed from duty in last 10 months

In the last ten months, Hyderabad’s commissioner CV Anand has punished, including removal from duty, 55 police officers for various offenses.

The punishment included the dismissal of 17 police officers or personnel from service by Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand. According to data released by the police, 22 of the 55 cops were removed from service, one constable was handed compulsory retirement, and the commissioner terminated the probation of 15 other personnel.
