I Didn’t Take Vaccine On PM’s Advice: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan

Hyderabad: The governor of the state Tamilisai Soundararajan today said that she did not take the much-awaited Covid 19 vaccine on the advice of the prime minister of the country Narendra Modi while noting that the PM has said that the vaccine should be administered to all the frontline workers of the country in the first phase.

Speaking to media persons she said that the administration of a make in India vaccine was a matter of pride for all the countrymen. She said that she would take the vaccine along with the normal people of the state.

She said that she was able to see a self-reliant India as stated by the PM. She said that the administration of the vaccine was an end of the Covid 19 vaccine. She said that the PM had come to Hyderabad and encouraged the research on the vaccine.

She said that the country did not have to depend on any country for the vaccine. She however urged the People to follow COVID-19 norms even after the administration of the vaccine.

Citing that the vaccine is being given to 30 people at each of the 139 vaccine administration Centers, she said that the number would be increased from Monday next week.  Making it clear that the vaccine is safe to take, she said that the second dose of the vaccine must be taken after 28 days.
