India ko ghus ke maara”- Pakistan minister admits country’s role in Pulwama

In sensational news, a minister of Pakistan has spat out that Pakistan is responsible for the attack in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir that killed 40 Indian soldiers.

The minister told the same during the country’s national assembly while taking pride in carrying out the action. The statement comes as an acceptance of the country’s role in terrorism against neighboring nations.

Fawad Chaudhry, the minister in line, while calling the attack a symbol of their achievement led by Imran Khan, said, “Humne Hindustan ko ghus ke maara (We hit India in their home). Our success in Pulwama is the success of the people under the Pakistan PM leadership of Imran Khan. You and we are all part of that success.”

With the admission creating a state of shock amidst the assembly attenders, the minister quickly realized his mistake and tried to rephrase his words by saying, “Pulwama ke waqiyeh ke baad, jab humne India ko ghus ke maara (When we hit India in their home after the incident at Pulwama.”

The ground-breaking admittance was brought in during a debate regarding AyazSadiq’s (an opposition party’s leader) revelation of a meeting between Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Foreign Minister and Qamar Javed Bajwa, Army Chief General of Pakistan following a chance meeting of the Indian and Pakistani fighter jets close to the LoC (Line of Control).

Amid this debate, Mr. Qureshi told General Bajwa to release Abhinandan Varthaman because if they don’t, India will attack Pakistan on the specific “night by 9 pm”. Abhinandan is the Indian pilot whose plane had crashed beyond the LoC and was held captive by the Pakistani troops for 60 hours.

The dispute between them had sparked less than 24 hours post the fighter jets of India blasting one of the camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, the alleged terror organization of Pakistan. The bombing of Balakot was retaliation to the suicide attack of Feb 14th on a group of troops of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in J&K’s Pulwama.

“I remember Shah Mahmood Qureshi was in the meeting in which (Prime Minister) Imran Khan had refused to attend and Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa came into the room, his legs were shaking and he was perspiring. Foreign Minister said for god’s sake let Abhinandan go, India’s about to attack Pakistan at 9 pm,” Mr. Sadiq narrated the incident of that day.

The statements have led to a massive tornado in the country as it is seen as an attack of the opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on the Imran Khan government. It has further forced the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to blurt a defensive reply in response to the comments.
