Jalpally officials crack the whip against Illegal construction again

Cracking the whip continues against the illegal constructions, the municipality officials in Jalpally has pulled down several structures today in the Sriram Colony area.

Officials with the help of police protection has descended today at Indra Society, Sriram Colony under Ward No.18 of Jalpally Village and trampled down two shades and two semi constructed houses built illegally.

According to sources, the Jalpally officials Town Planning Officer Habeebunnia along with supporting staff has squared on the area where illegal shades and few houses were said to have been constructed illegally. Blazed with collectors’ order, the officials pulled down all the four structure using JCB machine.

It has also learnt that revenue officials of Balapur Mandal too carried out demolition drive near Jalpally Lake Bund area and clamp down few houses that were allegedly constructed on government land.

“The drive will continue henceforth and there would be more such actions will be taken against illegal constructions and encroachments over government lands in Jalpally Municipal limits,” the sources added.

The reports were already down rounds that the authorities are waiting to see conclusion of Ganesh festivities to take on illegal constructions and encroachment in several municipalities after the government has formed district task force followed by cabinet sub-committee to decide the fate of unauthorized layout and structures in all the 16 municipalities of the state.
