Hyderabad: Telangana ideologist Prof. Jayshankar remembered today by the whole Telangana on his birth anniversary. Jayshankar was fought for the statehood to the Telangana from 1952. He had instrumental in it. Besides the Chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao, state ministers also remembered his services. In a message, the Chief Minister said that Prof Jayashankar, who worked for the spread of the Telangana movement’s ideology throughout his life, is remembered forever. He said the Telangana State was formed in tune with the wishes of Prof Jayashankar. Prof Jayashankar’s objective was that the state should attain comprehensive development in all the sectors, the Chief Minister said.
While paying to tribute to the great personality Minister for Finance Harish Rao tweeted in Telugu. In his tweeter message, he said “ Tribute to Sri Kottapalli Jayashankar sir who fought for the achievement of Telangana state and paved the way for golden Telangana”.
Meanwhile, Minister for ST Welfare, Women & Child Welfare Satyavathi Rathod also paid rich tribute to Prof Jayshankar. Rathod paid floral tribute to his statue at the ruling party headquarters Telangana Bhavan. On this occasion, she pointed out that CM K. Chander Shekhar Rao is pursuing his aspirations and making the Telangana State proud for the whole of India. She said that if Jayashankar would alive he would be happy to see the development and a part of it.
Meantime former member of Parliament K. Kavitha who is the daughter of Chief Minister K.Chandershekhar Rao also remembered Prof. Rao. Taking to the microblogging site tweeter she maintained that inspired by the Jayashanker spirit Telangana Jagruti has launched a special song.
The other leaders and active members of the TRS have also paid floral tribute to his statue in Telangana Bhawan. They remembered his yeomen services towards achieving the separate statehood to the Telangana.
The birthday anniversary of prof Jayshanker was also celebrated in the different parts of the Telangana by the leaders of the ruling party TRS.
