Hyderabad : Alleging that the State government has cheated the Dalits and Tribals by not fulfilling its promises, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday alleged that the State government has done nothing to develop Telangana State.
He also alleged that the State Government was taking credit for the works done by the Congress in the State. He reminded the House that it was the Congress that brought about a new Forest Land Protection Act and allocated land to the tribals in the State during its rule in Krishna and Godavari basins. He also alleged that the State government was forcefully taking away the forest lands allotted by the Congress from the tribals in the State.
He said the status of the State government could be gauged from the fact that the tribals of the State were revolting against the State government. He demanded that the State government to not forcefully take away the lands of the tribals besides extending welfare benefits like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima to them (nss)
