KCR focuses on dairy industry: Talasani Srinivas

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav today informed that the KCR government has released Rs 284 cr towards incentives to farmers supplying milk to dairies.

The state government began a scheme to help 2.13 lakh milk supplying farmers he said. He said that the government offers a subsidy of 50 percent on mulching Buffalos to help farmers. During question hour in the Assembly, minister Talasani Srinivas said that Chief Minister, KCR has a special interest in developing dairy wing its products.

He informed that like no other state, Telangana us offering Rs 4 incentive on one liter of milk being supplied by the farmers. The government is for the cause of the dairy industry as Vijaya dairy is now on the right track of development he said. A mega dairy will be started soon in the Maheshwaram area in Ranga Reddy district to push the dairy industry he claimed. The KCR government offers funds for dairy development and corona problem delayed related works, he added.
