KCR gives Rs 10 lakh to kidney patient

Hyderabad:  In a gesture of sorts Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao today offered Rs 10 lakhs towards medical help for a person facing kidney problems. On knowing of the poor situation of a farmer’s family, the Chief Minister gave the cheque for the amount on humanitarian grounds.

The patient Mahesh, son of a farmer  Lachhaiah and Suguna of Gajwel, a segment of the Chief Minister,  has been facing liver problems for some time.  The doctors advised getting treatment for kidney transplantation which needs more money.

As they cannot afford the treatment and local councilor Gangishetti Chandana Ravinder has informed the same to TSFDC Chief Vanteru Prathap Reddy and Finance Minister T Harish Rao.  They in turn took the matter to the notice of the Chief Minister who immediately responded.

He gave the cheque of Rs 10 lakhs towards treatment for Mahesh.  On Tuesday,  the minister and TSFDC Chief gave the cheque to the victim’s family. And his family members extended thanks to the chief minister,  Harish Rao, and Prathap Reddy.
The municipal chairman Rajamauli, deputy Jakiuddin, TRS leaders Raju,  Kishan Reddy, Nawaj Mera, and Mahesh Goud were present.
