KCR Sounds Poll Bugle With A Clarion Call To Repose Trust In TRS

Hyderabad: TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao sounded the election bugle in the State by kick-starting his party’s campaigning from Husnabad today with a bitter attack on the Congress which was responsible for backwardness of Telangana and untold sufferings for all sections of the people.

Addressing a mammoth “Praja Ashirvada” rally , the caretaker Chief Minister gave a clarion call to the people to defeat the machiavellian plans of the Congress to come to power by deceitful and false promises. Asserting that it was only after the TRS taking the reins of administration, Telangana was moving forward with progress and prosperity. “TRS has given a ray of hope and confidence to people, especially the poor, backward classes, farmers and handloom weavers”, he said and added that a vote for Congress will only spell doom for the State.

The TRS supremo reiterated that his party was committed for the welfare of all sections of the people and wipe out backwardness of State with progressive and developmental programs. The State would plunge into darkness again if Congress was handed over power, he warned and appealed to the people to prevent this by defeating that party in the coming elections.

The caretaker Chief Minister also took the opportunity to reel out various welfare schemes launched by the TRS Government during the last four years despite the Congress relentlessly trying to put numerous hurdles. What the State could not achieve during the Congress regime be it in power generation or irrigation or drinking water, the TRS successfully implemented them. While there was only darkness with unprecedented power cuts, today there is uninterrupted power supply for farmers as well as domestic consumers, he observed.

He also highlighted the TRS schemes like KCR kits to women, old age pensions, financial assistance for performing marriages, the needed education to all by starting Gurukul schools, the needed healthcare for all etc. There is more to be done for the betterment of the people and the State, he said and observed that it was imperative for the people to ensure victory of the TRS.

Seeking blessings of the people for continuation of the progressive, welfare and developmental programs launched so far by reposing their confidence in TRS in the ensuing elections, KCR appealed to the people to vote for car ( TRS election symbol) and thus save themselves from being slaves and dependent on the Delhi bosses again.
