KCR tells Collectors to offer corrupt-free, transparent services to people at their door-steps

Hyderabad : Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today reportedly directed the District Collectors to offer corrupt-free and transparent services at people’s door-steps using Revenue, Panchayat and Municipal Acts.

During a meeting with the Collectors at Pragathi Bhavan, KCR instructed them to take the schemes and programs on a war-footing to reach the last man. He is learnt to have asked them to see that the villages are developed like never before with facilities and greenery and clean environment. “Our aim is to see that every person gets benefited through our flagship programs, welfare schemes, development programs and irrigation projects”.

KCR said irrigation is top priority to bring about one crore acres under irrigation. Kaleshwaram was completed and with same spirit Palamur Ranga Reddy and Sitharam project will be completed. The collectors were asked to take responsibility to implent the schemes as also to turn villages and towns green by taking up 60 days of timeline he said. Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, pensions, marriage schemes, welfare are key for inclusive growth he said. Coordinate with others to achieve all round development, KCR asked the Collectors.

The Chief Minister said to have asked the district administration to focus on green expansion across the state. Our motto is to get ample waters from rivers and ensure that farm production rise in future.

About 33 issues came up for discussion in the collectors meeting to continue on Wednesday including three new acts which are key for rural development with all facilities. (NSS)
