KCR visits Kaleshwaram project, Mukteshwara Temple

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today visited Mukteshwara Swamy temple as part of his tour of the Kaleshwaram project.  With family members, the Chief Minister visited the temple and got a traditional welcome with Purna Kumbham by the temple priests.

At the Mukteshwara Swamy temple, he attended the special pujas.  The pujaris performed special pujas and blessed the chief Minister his wife Shobha and other family members. 

The tour schedule includes visiting Medigadda barrage, Lakshmi barrage, which are important in the prestigious Kaleshwaram project, and reviews it for water supply to agriculture during Yasangi season. 

Along with a team of officials, the Chief Minister inspected the lift irrigation works at Medigadda barrage.

Chandrasekhar Rao took stock of water storage, release, and lifting from the project for agriculture works. The Chief Minister instructed the officials on the works of the Kaleshwaram project and related barrages. The visit gets importance as the lifting of water was started.
