KCR vows to irrigate 20 lakh acres in Palamur

Hyderabad: Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today promised that 20 lakh acres will be brought under irrigation soon if the people give mandate to the TRS in the upcoming polls. The TRS Government completed the projects and irrigating seven lakh acres in Palamur district as of now, he claimed amid applause by the people in a public meeting he was addressing at Wanaparty.

KCR took a jibe that the previous rulers failed to irrigate the crops and complete the projects that aggravated migration and failure in agriculture by destroying community professions in a big way which was heartrending, he noted. The TRS Govt completed Kalwakurty lift to irrigate crops and with the blessings of the people on retaining power will complete others he promised. Desist from voting to the opposition and vote for the ruling party to complete the rest of the projects and turn green the Palamur and other districts he said.

KCR said injustice meted out for decades to Palamur in agriculture, irrigation, led to migration, drought and other problems in Palamur and other districts due to negligence by the past rulers. The ruling party gave the contact of redesigning to WAPCOS and the Opposition ran away from the Assembly during the session. (NSS
