Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao Monday inaugurated a road under the bridge at Hitech city and participate in other development programs on Monday.He announced that Rs 3705 Cr to be spent on drainage and stormwater nalas as part of the strategic plan of road development in the city. He participated in several works of roads, road under bridges, drainage, and others at hi-tech city area. The minister stated that the strategic plan will address issues of waterlogging, traffic, drainage, nalas, and floodwaters with roofing of nalas.
The GHMC and officials are using the strategic plans to ensure signal-free roads that will overcome the problem of traffic jams he said.

With this traffic problem for people and IT people will come to an end, the officials said.
The road was built by spending Rs 69.59 cr stretching 410 meters. The strategic road development plan is getting fructified as the officials are coordinating to complete the identified roads at various locations in the city.
The minister stated that the new road will address the problem of traffic movement as about 5 lakhs to 6 lakhs of people used to go through.
This road will pave way for preserving stormwater in a separate water body built on the sideways he said. Similarly, 20 more projects will be completed by spending about Rs 4741 cr the minister said.

The officials spent Rs 1010 cr so far and started 18 projects including several RUBs, ROBs, underpasses, roads and landscaping with greenery at multiple locations.
